A Crossroads, a River, and a Lot of Family Land

Bruce isn't a town with subdivisions and a rec center. It's the crossroads where Highway 81 comes to an end at Highway 20 — a store, a cafe, a church on Church Road, and family land running back toward the Choctawhatchee. Parties here happen in yards, and that suits us fine.

Local & Family-Owned

We Run This Stretch of Highway 20

Jump Street Inflatables is family-owned and covers the SR 20 corridor every weekend — Freeport is about fifteen minutes west of Bruce, Ebro under ten minutes east. Clean, inspected, fully insured inflatables, delivered and set up by people already on your road.

Bruce Party Rentals for Every Kind of Event

Yards, family land, and church grounds — that's the shape of it out here.

Birthday Parties

Backyard birthdays on Church Road and out along Highway 20 and Highway 81. Places here run to an acre and up, so space is almost never the limiting factor.

Church & Youth Events

Vacation Bible School weeks, homecomings, and youth nights. Bruce Assembly of God is right on Church Road, and there are more congregations up toward Redbay and Ponce de Leon.

Family Reunions

Bruce is a family-land kind of place, and reunions here often happen on ground that's been in the family a long time. Add a bouncer and the kids are handled for the afternoon.

School-Break Parties

Bruce children attend the Walton County schools in Freeport, so our busy weeks here track that calendar — end-of-year, fall break, and the long summer.

River-Weekend Gatherings

The Choctawhatchee runs right past town and the landings up Highway 81 draw people all season. A bouncer back at the house rounds out a river day nicely.

Community Events

For anything larger than a backyard party, talk to us early. We handle multi-unit setups and can supply a Certificate of Insurance for whoever's hosting.

Where Can I Set Up a Bounce House in Bruce?

In a Bruce Yard — Which Is the Honest Answer

Let's be plain: Bruce has no county park, no ball field, and no public rec center. There's nowhere municipal to book. What Bruce has instead is land — acre lots and family property with real room, no homeowners' association, and no permit needed on your own ground. We need flat grass or concrete matching the unit's listed footprint, the listed overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 100 feet. On a slab we anchor with sandbags instead of stakes.

One Thing Worth Knowing About the River

The Choctawhatchee crosses Highway 20 just east of Bruce — the federal river gauge for this stretch is literally named for the town. In high water, Highway 20 at the bridge can flood and close. It doesn't happen often, but if the river's been up and you've got a party booked, mention it when you call and we'll plan the approach from whichever side works. That's the sort of thing worth knowing from a company that actually drives this road.

Down at the Landings

Bruce Creek Landing is often associated with the town name, but it's genuinely about ten miles north up Highway 81, closer to Ponce de Leon, on Camp House Landing Road. It's a water-management district site with a boat ramp, a fire pit, a short bank-fishing path, and parking for about ten vehicles — a nice spot, but small, and not really a party venue. If you're gathering out that way, a bouncer at the house makes more sense than trying to work it into the landing.

A Note on the Community's History

Bruce is the headquarters of the Muscogee Nation of Florida, a state-recognized tribe whose governing center has been in this community for more than 150 years, housed in the town's original late-1800s schoolhouse on Church Road. The tribe maintains a heritage museum and gift shop there, open by appointment. It's a real part of what Bruce is — and if you're interested in visiting, the right move is to contact them directly rather than to just turn up.

Common Questions

Bruce Bounce House Rental FAQs

Straight answers for a place with no park to book.

Is There a Park in Bruce Where We Could Have a Party?
Honestly, no — Bruce has no county park, ball field, or public rec center. Bruce Creek Landing carries the name but sits about ten miles north up Highway 81, closer to Ponce de Leon, and it only parks about ten vehicles. The good news is that Bruce is acreage country: you don't need a permit to put an inflatable in your own yard, there's no HOA to clear it with, and most places here have more room than a town lot ever would.
Do You Really Deliver Out to Bruce?
Yes, and it's an easy run. Bruce sits on Highway 20 where Highway 81 ends — Ebro is about 6 miles east, Freeport around 12 miles west, and Redbay roughly 9 miles north. Ponce de Leon is about 25 minutes up 81 and DeFuniak Springs around 35 to 40. We're on this corridor constantly. Enter your address at booking and any delivery fee shows before you confirm.
How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Bounce House in Bruce, FL?
The price is listed right on each product page. Classic bounce houses are our most affordable option; combo bouncers, water slides, and dry slides go up from there by size and features. Setup and takedown are included — no separate labor charge and no "call for pricing."
My Address Says Ponce de Leon. Am I Still in Bruce?
Quite possibly. Bruce shares ZIP 32455, whose primary post office name is Ponce de Leon, so a lot of Bruce addresses print as "Ponce de Leon, FL 32455" even though the place is Bruce. Both are correct and neither makes any difference to us. Just give us the street address at booking and we'll sort it out.
What Do I Need to Have Ready Before You Arrive?
A flat setup area of grass or concrete matching the unit's listed footprint, the listed overhead clearance (watch the low limbs — there's good shade out here), and a standard outlet within 100 feet. Please have pets out of the yard and the area picked up before we arrive. Two Bruce-specific notes: tell us if you're down a long dirt drive, and if you're setting up on concrete, say so and we'll bring sandbag anchors.
When's the Best Time of Year for an Outdoor Party Here?
October, clearly. It's the driest month of the year with highs around 80°F — and this area gets roughly 65 inches of rain a year, so a dry month stands out. April and May are the second window. June through September is the wet stretch, with July the wettest at seven and a half inches and highs of 92°F. Those are afternoon thunderstorms, not all-day rain, so a morning slot and a water slide is the summer answer. If a storm rolls in on the day, call us and we'll move your date.
