Our usual first suggestion for a kids' party in town. Madison Street Park at 2898 Madison Street has a pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, parking, and a splash pad — which pairs perfectly with a dry bouncer in summer, since the kids cool off in the water and bounce dry. Reservations run through the City of Marianna Parks & Recreation department at (850) 482-6228. Confirm the pavilion and any certificate-of-insurance requirement when you book, and send us the details.
At a Jackson County Park or Lodge
The county publishes its rates, which makes planning easy. Citizen's Lodge Park on Lodge Drive rents a large pavilion at $100, a small pavilion or gazebo at $80, and the lodge itself (seats 100) at $250 plus deposit. Cypress Park Lodge on Highway 90 is $80 plus deposit and comes with about six acres of mostly open ground — the most inflatable-friendly field space in the county. County Parks & Recreation books these at (850) 557-1564.
At Blue Springs
Jackson Blue Springs on Blue Springs Road is a 72-degree spring-fed swimming park with four rentable pavilions — Pavilion 1 at $100 a day, Pavilions 2 through 4 at $80 — and, importantly for us, water and electrical hookups at the pavilions, so our blowers run off the venue rather than a generator. Note that guests pay park admission separately (around $4 a head), so factor that into a big group. The park's number is (850) 482-2114.
In a Marianna Backyard
Still the most common setup. We need flat grass or concrete matching the unit's listed footprint, the listed overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 100 feet. Older lots around the historic district often have mature shade trees and narrower side gates — measure your gate (we need roughly 36 inches) and mention any low limbs when you book, and we'll pick a footprint that fits.
