We need flat grass or concrete matching the unit's listed footprint, the listed overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 100 feet. On a slab we anchor with sandbags rather than stakes. If you're on a long dirt drive off one of the county roads, mention it when you book and we'll plan the approach.
About Ponce de Leon Springs State Park — Read This First
The springs are beautiful and the park is cheap to get into, but we want to be straight with you: Florida State Parks require advance authorization for outside vendors bringing equipment onto park land, and each park decides case by case. That means we can't promise you a bounce house at the springs.
If that's where your heart is set, call the park first at (850) 836-4281 and ask what they'll allow. Then call us and we'll work with whatever they approve. A couple of practical notes either way: the four picnic pavilions run about $25 a day plus tax and are first-come, first-served with no reservations from late May through Labor Day, and reserving a pavilion doesn't guarantee entry — the park closes admission when it hits capacity on hot weekends. Alcohol is prohibited park-wide.
At the Town Parks
Ponce de Leon has two — Town Hall Park and Blue Creek Veterans Memorial Park. The town has been pursuing significant grant funding for playground and community-event improvements at both, so they're getting better. There's no town website and no published reservation process, so call the Town Clerk at (850) 836-4361 to ask what your event needs. Ask about an outlet while you're on the phone — if there isn't one, we'll bring a generator.
Out at Vortex Spring
If you want a bigger venue without the state-park paperwork, Vortex Spring Adventures on Vortex Springs Lane is private property with an established event business — a pavilion they market for reunions and picnics, lodges, camping, and a diving spring. It's the largest private venue in Holmes County. Book your space with them at (850) 836-4979, then tell us the staging area and we'll set up around it.
