The town rents two picnic shelters at 2399 Legion Road — the Water Shelter and the Playground Shelter — for a flat $50 per day, reservable in person at City Hall up to six months ahead. The rental day runs 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central, and there's power at the shelters, which means our blowers run off the venue rather than a generator. Two things worth knowing: no alcohol and no pets at the park, and the shelters are not reservable on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or Labor Day — first-come, first-served on those three. If you want a shelter on a holiday weekend, get there early or pick a different date. City Hall is (850) 593-6636.
In a Sneads Backyard
Still the most common setup, and yards here have room. We need flat grass or concrete matching the unit's listed footprint, the listed overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 100 feet. On a slab or driveway we anchor with sandbags rather than stakes — mention the surface when you book so we load the right gear.
At the Log Cabin — With One Big Caveat
The Log Cabin on Old Spanish Trail is a 1936 WPA building listed on the National Register in 2017, and the town rents it with its gazebo for $75 a day plus a $50 refundable deposit. It's a lovely space — but the rules prohibit loud music, DJs, and any amplified sound, with music not audible more than 50 feet away. That makes it a great fit for a christening party, a birthday tea, a shower, or a family gathering, and a poor fit for a loud kids' bash. A bounce house on the gazebo lawn works with the quiet-venue rules; a DJ does not.
At Three Rivers State Park
The park has three picnic pavilions on Lake Seminole (roughly $30 outdoors, $60 for the one with indoor seating, plus tax) and a group camp that holds up to 100. Reserve through the park at (850) 482-9006 — and note the pavilion fee doesn't cover your guests' park entrance fee, which they'll pay at the gate. Florida State Parks generally require a special-use permit to bring in equipment, so check with the park before booking an inflatable there and we'll work to whatever they tell you.
